ABOUT ME

Christopher Allen is a business owner, author, writer, publisher, poet, co-host, actor, model, speaker, and mentor; dedicating many of his works and time to inspire personal growth, community, fatherhood, mindfulness, self-worth, and inner healing.

 

Born in Charleston, West Virginia, Christopher was raised on the Eastern Shores of Maryland and Delaware. Later, he took up residence in Philadelphia to further his career as an actor, model, writer, songwriter, and poet before moving to Richmond, Virginia in 2007. In 2016, he obtained a paralegal degree specializing in Litigation E-Discovery. Prior to graduating he also wrote three books; A Guide to Open Wounds, and two editions titled Open Wounds. One version is dedicated to the adults, and the other is for the youth, ages 8 to 18. He is currently working on two additional books called Bottlely Harm and a children's series focusing on reducing anxiety and childhood trauma. His works have been published by Ascension Publishing. In addition, he is writing in tandem with creative minds to produce new works for several web series, plays, and movies. He is the Editorial Manager for the Healing Connector, a member of the Men's Huddle, and the Black Male Emergent Readers. He is the producer of the Issues of Men platform, where he discusses topics that men experiencing but are not always willing to admit or address openly. He uses his voice and gifts to bring about positive changes in the lives of others. He has spoken at schools, colleges, churches, radio shows, social media platforms, and various venues to share his message and story.
